For the past couple of years, we’ve been seeing Club Balai Isabel whenever we pass by Talisay. We’ve also seen pictures and have arrived at the following assumptions:
- It features an amazing view of the Taal Volcano.
- It has nice amenities.
- It has a great buffet.
- They have affordable rates. Click here for the best rates.
- It offers fun water activities via their Aqua Park.
Finally, we got to try Club Balai Isabel and its Aqua Park.
NOTE: This is going to be a short blog post, but make sure to scroll to the bottom to watch my vlog about it! I feel that this experience is best shared through a vlog!
About Club Balai Isabel
Club Balai Isabel Batangas is located in Talisay Batangas. It is not your usual beach plus pool resort. It has beautiful pools, yes, but it has a lake instead of a beach. This is not a problem considering that it’s the Taal Lake that we’re talking about and that it features an amazing view of the Taal Volcano.
Here are more views.
Speaking of the pools, here’s the biggest one.
Here are some shots of the pool nearest our room.
Make sure to watch out for the sunset!
It’s a huge resort that’s masterfully planned to make sure that a pool is just a few steps away. There are a lot of trees. There’s plenty of accommodation which explains why a lot of companies go there for their company outings and team buildings.
Room options are between hotels and villas. We loved our Superior room! Click here for the best rates.
Food at Club Balai Isabel
We tried a couple of their restaurants – the Terraza Café and the Isabel’s Panaderia & Pizzeria. It was the weekend so it was mostly a buffet setup with a handful of Ala Carte options.
Here’s one of my buffet plates.
Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed their bulalo buffet. Yes, bulalo buffet.
At one point we were so full because of too much buffet so we shared this lomi. As a Lipeño, I approve of this lomi.
They also have good pizza. This four cheese pizza is the bomb.
Aqua Park
The Aqua Park alone makes the trip to Club Balai Isabel worth it! It was an hour of jumping around, falling in the lake, and sliding down the 40 foot water slide which is the main attraction of the Club Balai Isabel Aqua Park.
I also got to try riding a jet ski for the very first time!
