“Did we really leave home?” The first thing that popped into our minds was this question, as our eyes take wonder at the sight of Rose Villas Resort. As soon as we set foot at the resort, we can’t help but take awe of the placid vibes the place has. From the melodic quietness, the whistling breeze of nature plus the inviting water, we knew we found an undiscovered treasure filled with serene pleasures.

About Rose Villas

Whoever said that going on a vacation means leaving home behind has never seen a place as wondrous and tranquil as Rose Villas. This peaceful setting is seated at the premises of Brgy. San Jose, Lipa City. The one-hectare resort offers comfort and relaxation the Balinese-themed way, where you can be one with the nature, God and humanity.

What started out as a dream retreat led to the birth of this cradle of serenity. As shared by Ms. Baby Garcia, the operations manager of the place, her mother once dreamt of a place where she can relax with her family when she gets old. After gaining positive feedback from family and friends about the place, they decided to open it for business. And thus, Rose Villas Resort was born.

The Resort

Luxury and warm smiles greeted us as we entered the reception lobby. The minimalist Balinese interior sure is an effective way to get guests in the cozy and harmonic mood, just as the way we felt.

Privacy and relaxation go hand in hand, and Rose Villas didn’t fail to give us the chance to experience it. During our stay, we were able to enjoy the exclusivity of the place. Rose Villas is the very epitome of “good things come in small packages.” A rarity of vast greenery enclosed in a small paradise – a good package indeed.

We were able to share laughter and lighthearted conversations as we splash on the crisp waters of their pools. The resort offers two pools – a 2 feet pool for kids (and kids at heart) and a 4 to 6 feet pool for adults.

Those who were not blessed by Poseidon with mermaid skills (a.k.a. can’t swim so boohoo) like me can enjoy the warm embrace of the deck chairs by the poolside. Take in the picturesque view of Rose Villas, hum with the gust of the wind and the cascading water or make daydreams with the canvas of the blue skies above.

The resort has a lot of Instagram-worthy spots, too, perfect for those “Operation: Change DP” photo shoots. The whole place can also be rented for private events such as weddings, birthdays and reunions.

Where to Stay

A little bit of Gazebo in my life, a little bit of Deluxe by my side

A little bit of Cabana in the sun, a little bit of Superior all night long

A little bit of Villas here they are, a little bit of you makes me feel at home

In the mood for outdoor feels by the poolside? You can choose from the two cabanas and one gazebo the resort has to offer.  The cabana has a capacity to hold 6 to 8 persons, while the gazebo can accommodate 15 to 20 guests.

The cabana is a perfect spot for snuggling with your special someone, or curling up with a good book and a nice cup of coffee while relishing the breathtaking view around you.

And when it illuminates at night? Makes you want to sing Half of my heart is in Cabana, ooh na-na

The gazebo offers more space for slightly larger groups of guests. More space to spread those arms, cross those legs and say “Facundo, pakilabas ng inumin ko!” #hacienderofeels

Rose Villas has 4 rooms – two Superior rooms and two Deluxe Rooms.

Deluxe rooms promise a view of the pool and the scenery of the place.

Both rooms include conveniences such as air conditioning, smart TV, WiFi access, modernized bathroom with hot and cold shower and more.

Recently, they’ve added two new villas for more large groups of guests. Composed of the front and back villa unit, each room can accommodate a total of 8 to 10 persons. We were given a quick tour of one of the villas, and needless to say, it really felt like home. That balcony view is to die for!

The front villa unit features a mini living room, a king-size bed, a modernized bathroom and a mini fridge on the ground floor. The loft allots it space for three more beds, with two beds placed by the window side.

The back villa, on the other hand, features a mini dining room. The unit also has the same number of beds as per the front unit, but it gives staycationers a promising view of the nature hidden behind the resort.

Guests need not to worry whenever their stomachs beg for love. Rose Villas offers a variety of foods that will satisfy each and every craving. We were given the privilege to try some of their mouthwatering dishes, and it sure did satisfy our hunger. Their array of cuisine stayed true to their homelike theme, but it still has that touch of an original style of cooking.

To give you an idea of how scrumptious their dishes are, here are some teasers for you:

Rose Villas’ Illuminated Beauty at Night

The beauty of Rose Villas Resort shines even brighter as the moon blesses the night with its majestic radiance. We were at lost for words when, one by one, the lights were brought to life. It’s like the stars came down from heaven to bring us company that time. It’s the perfect time to walk down the cobblestone path or dive in for a dose of night swimming.

Rose Villas in the Future

Several plans are in line for the future development of the resort. Few ideas in store include the addition of a function hall and tree house.
