It’s hard to find something wrong with the tapsilog. It’s as complete as meals get. You get good protein, carbs and a bit of fat. It’s simple enough for commoners but if served right, is fit for a king. This is especially true if it’s the Kingsilog of TapsiShop Batangas City.
About TapsiShop Batangas City
It’s a relatively new place in Batangas City that serves, well, tapsilog. TapsiShop Batangas City is not your usual tapsi place. It’s surprisingly IG-worthy with murals that will make even the most IG-active millennial take a lot of pictures.
This is not surprising considering that it’s franchised by the young and lovely Simpleece Delos Reyes. It’s her first venture into the food business and it shows in her passion for it.
It’s also airconditioned so you can enjoy your dishes in comfort. It has lots of seats in its up and down restaurant, ready to serve the thousands of students, workers, and hungry patrons in this very busy area in Batangas.
Home of the Kingsilog
TapsiShop Batangas City is home to the Kingsilog. What is the Kingsilog, you ask? I’ll try to explain using a picture.
It’s only PHP 143! It’s a dish with 2 cups of fried rice, 2 fried eggs, tapa, and 2 more ulam! You can choose from the following:
- Hotdog
- Embotido
- Sisig Shanghai
- Pork Shanghai
- Pork Siomai
- Gyoza Dumpling
- Sharksfin Dumpling
- Bebecue (pork bbq)
- Lumpiang Toge
You can add PHP 7 so you can choose from the following:
- Buffalo Wing
- Tocino
- Longganisa
Add PHP 17 and you can add the following:
- Crispy Sisig
- Lechong Kawali
- Grilled Liempo
- Breaded Porkchop
- Pork Adobo
- Fried Chicken
- Bacon Bombs
They also have the Kingsilog Challenge. For this challenge, you have to finish the whole thing under 2 minutes. If you do, the meal is for free AND you get another free Kingsilog for your next visit. If not, well you just have to pay for the meal.
I tried it and I almost did it! Another 30 seconds more and I would have finished the challenge. No regrets. I was able to enjoy the Kingsilog even if I was wolfing it down. I loved the combination of the salty tapa, crunchy sisig and sweet-salty longganisa.

We also tried several varieties of the Kingsilog. I loved the shanghai and the bacon bomb!
You can also level up the Kingsilog by ordering the Pukingsilog. It’s a Kingsilog with the Pusisig (more on this later).
Other Dishes at TapsiShop Batangas City
Please note that I’m already really full when I tried the rest of the dishes. But they look so good so I had to try them. We tried the Queensealog.
I enjoyed the calamares.
You can also get the sisig as a platter.
The aptly named Sisig Tropa is perfect for your tropa.
If your tropa is more of a lechon kawali squad, get the Lechon Tropa.
I’ve already mentioned the Pusisig.
It’s a glorious pusit stuffed with sisig. Yes, stuffed.with.sisig.
More of a liempo fan? Get the Pusiboy.
It’s pusit stuffed with liempo.
They also have boodle fight that will be served with a slam! Order it to know what I mean. We got the Almusalo.
It has 6 cups of rice, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 porkchops, 3 longganisa, 3 tuyo and kamatis.
