About Rendezvous Resort
Rendezvous Resort is a resort located in Tibig St., Brgy. Labac in Cuenca, Batangas. It used to be a farm and rest house and fortunately for us, the owners decided to convert it into a resort and open it to the public.
I’d classify it as a nature-inspired resort. Upon entering their gates, tranquility will take over as you take in the fresh breeze and the relaxing sights provided by trees, plants and flowers. They could have gone profit-oriented and just cut down the trees in order to accommodate more buildings and rooms. But the owners decided to value the environment and in the process, give us a premier (but affordable!) nature-inspired community resort.
An Affordable Nature-inspired Resort
Yes, Rendezvous Resort is not the only nature-inspired resort in Batangas. What sets it apart from the rest is it’s very affordable. The chance to rest and get away from your hurried urban life makes its affordable rates worth it. Add that to the fact that you get to enjoy a resort, farm, garden and resort in one makes it a no-brainer to book a night at Rendezvous Resort.

I enjoyed walking around the resort admiring nature. It sure helped that soothing animal sounds can be heard thanks to their mini zoo.
We’re a group of adults and we enjoyed the mini zoo. We were up close and personal with the cute animals. I can just imagine how much fun kids are going to have so make sure you bring your kids on your stay!

Beautiful Pools
I’m going to talk about the pools separately. They’re beautiful. They’re clean and clear. With waterfalls slowly cascading water onto the pools and with trees surrounding you, you get this feeling that you’re swimming in a lake.
There are 4 pools all in all interconnected with one another. The bigger pool is for adults obviously. There are also pools for the kids. There’s even a wading pool!

Activities at the Resort
You’ll spend most of your time swimming at their beautiful pools and admiring the surroundings. After dinner, they were kind enough to set up a movie night for us at their pavilion. We were plopped down on comfortable bean bags while watching Coco (one of the best movies of all time, IMHO) on a projector with the beautiful night surrounding us!
They also served pica-pica and cocktails for us to enjoy before and during the movie!
By the way, the pavilion can also be rented for events.
One of the highlights of our stay was the campfire.
We enjoy hotdogs and mallows cooked over the campfire, while we traded fun stories with the clear sky blanketing us.
Oh, and crickets provided a relaxing background sound!
Food at the Florenel Café & Restaurant
Florenel Café & Restaurant is the restaurant inside the resort. The resto provides breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. It also provided the pica-pica for the movie night and the campfire.
We loved the tapang Taal they served for breakfast.
It’s tender and juicy!
They served us roast chicken for dinner.
I loved the combination of herbs and spices that they used!
We didn’t experience a minute of hunger as we were well-fed with delicious snacks and meals all throughout our stay.
Basic Rooms that Serve their Purpose
When booked at a resort like this that offers a lot of things to do, you just need the following things in a room:
- Comfortable mattress
- Clean sheets
- Space
- Clean bathroom
- Cold AC unit
The rooms we stayed in have these traits so all good! The rooms did their purpose of providing us with a good night sleep.
